We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Travel Account Manager to join a leading Travel Management Company, covering the North of England. Working closely with both the Customer Support and Operations teams, this new role will involve managing a diverse portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring customer retention and offering strong support as well as developing new business. The successful candidate will have strong commercial acumen and relationship building skills and a good understanding of the business travel sector. In return, our client are offering an interesting and rewarding field sales position with a great package, including a salary of up to £50K and excellent benefits.

Role of Business Travel Account Manager:

  • Have a strong understanding of the corporate travel sector and our client’s market proposition
  • Ensure customer satisfaction is delivered through effective account management practices, e.g. working with support teams to resolve customer issues
  • Build strong, lasting relationships, engaging at all levels and maintaining a high level of communication
  • Plan and develop business account management plans to measure and monitor success or areas for improvement
  • Plan and support implementation of new clients

Skills required for the role:

  • Previous experience in a similar account management position
  • Proven sales/account management track record
  • Good commercial acumen and a detailed knowledge and understanding of the corporate travel sector
  • Confident and articulate with strong communication skills
  • Proven ability to build and develop effective relationships
