Description:

Previous experience in a similar cruise sales role is essential for the position, ideally within a fast paced, travel sales environment where the ability to multi-task is key. Personal cruise experience, either from fam trips / ship visits or your own holidays would also be a huge advantage, so you're confidently able to sell, based on your own experiences.

Role of Cruise Sales Concierge:

  • Selling cruise holidays over the phone and online chat across all cruise lines including tailor making to fit the customer’s specific requirements i.e. adding flights, transfers, hotels, and land tours, if required
  • Converting incoming calls and online chats into bookings to meet your personal and team targets
  • Following up leads, acting on customer buying signals and maximising sales leads
  • Delivering on agreed customer and sales targets (KPI’s)
  • Following company processes to ensure all bookings are completed accurately
  • Offering remarkable customers service by building rapport, understanding the needs of each customer, and using personal experience to encourage customer loyalty and retention
  • Taking the workload off your customers shoulders and letting them focus on enjoying the cruise!

  • A competitive basic salary plus uncapped commission (OTE £40k)
  • An unlimited amount of leads provided for you
  • On-going training and support to enable you to develop your career and benefit from unlimited earning potential!

  • Guaranteed bonus and reduced targets for the first 6 months while you settle in

  • Proven sales track record within the cruise sector - essential

I took a 7 year hiatus from the Travel industry to develop my skills in a completely different role. Unfortunately, that came to an abrupt end through to insolvency and it knocked me sideways as I was climbing the career ladder.

Despite being out of the industry for 4 years (thanks to COVID) we talked this through and she felt I was a strong candidate for the role. She put forward my CV and the next day she was in touch to let me know they wished to interview. Within a week I had completed the Zoom call with my new employer and within 45 mins I had Rachel on the phone congratulating me as they wanted to offer me to job!

The overall experience has been so stress free and easy.

Rachel genuinely seemed keen to help get me back into the industry and she did it first time! Can’t ask for more than that! 

During the process leading up to me starting my new role Rachel was always on hand to offer advice and guide me on any questions or concerns I may have had. We checked in with each other regularly and it felt like I was in contact with a friend.

Her professional but relaxed attitude is a credit. I feel if I have any last minute things questions I will not be a nuisance!
