Description:

Due to exciting developments within the business, they are now looking for experienced Business Travel Consultants who’d like to join their Out of Hours team on a part-time basis. This role offers 22 hours per weeks and would involve an 11 hour shift on a Sat or Sun each week day or night and 1 night shift in the week of 17.30pm to 5.30am (there can be some flexibility with this shift.) The role is fully home-based.

Role of Part-time Our of Hours Business Travel Consultant:

  • Work within the 24 hour team, assist clients with their travel enquiries both over the phone and via email, including booking flights, hotels, rail, car-hire, airport parking and advising on travel visas requirements.
  • Ensure the highest level of customer service is offered to internal and external customers at all times
  • Convert general enquiries into actual bookings utilising all the tools and technology available.
  • Take ownership of travel requests enquiries received in writing or over the telephone
  • Ensure all communication both written and verbal is professional, accurate and conducted in a timely manner.

Skills required for the role:

  • Previous experience as a Business Travel Consultant - essential
  • Working knowledge of a GDS - essential
  • Excellent worldwide geography
  • Ability to deliver high levels of customer service at all times
  • Highly professional and pro-active approach
