Description:

Joining our client on a two year, fixed term contract, the successful candidates will be responsible for delivering a highly professional travel management service to business travel clients, offering expert advice and guidance at all times.

In return, our client can offer a salary of £30k along with excellent benefits including 33 days holiday, life insurance, health insurance, pension, travel industry incentives and much more! All equipment will be provided for you and there's also the possibility that the role may become permanent following the completion of the contract. (Please note - this is a day-time shift role).

Role of Senior Galileo Business Travel Consultant:

  • Based from home, handling all travel requirements including complex flight itineraries
  • Answering calls and emails from business travel clients in a polite, efficient and professional manner
  • Offering a high standard of customer service and expert guidance at all times
  • Issue, re-issue and perform re-calculations of international and domestic airfares using Galileo GDS
  • Sourcing the best and most cost effective worldwide routes booking all flights, rail, hotel and all ground products.

Skills required for the role:

  • Strong proficiency on Galileo - essential
  • A minimum of 3 years experience as a Business Travel Consultant
  • Excellent geographical knowledge
  • Strong fares knowledge
  • A pro-active and motived approach
  • Excellent customer service & communication skills
