Description:

Using your expert travel industry knowledge and personal travel experience to this region, your role will be to create bespoke holidays, including independent and cultural tours, detailed travel itineraries and exotic multi-centre stays. By listening carefully to your customers' needs and offering an exceptional level of service at all times, you'll ensure sure they're able to experience their perfect trip!

The role will also involve sourcing and implementing new products and negotiation with suppliers to secure the most competitive rates.

Our client is able to offer 25 - 30 hours per week and can offer a fully office based option, flexi-homeworking or it can be fully homebased. There's a highly competitive salary plus excellent commission structure and other excellent industry benefits including long haul familiarisation trips.

Role of Indian Ocean Travel & Product Specialist:

  • Dealing with face-to-face enquiries and also by phone and email
  • Creating bespoke, long haul travel itineraries throughout the Indian Ocean
  • Giving expert advice and recommendations from your own extensive travel experience
  • Offering an excellent standard of customer service at all times
  • Sourcing and implementing new products
  • Negotiation with suppliers to secure the most competitive rates.

Skills required for the role:

  • A high level of customer care and sales experience gained within the travel sector
  • A genuine passion and enthusiasm for the travel industry
  • In-depth product knowledge of the Indian Ocean
  • Good commercial awareness
  • Resourceful, with the ability to deliver to meet the clients’ brief
  • A friendly and positive attitude
  • Ability to work hard individually and as a member of a supportive team
