Our client is a specialist Travel Management Company, with more than 5000 customers globally and over 4 decades of experience. They’re the market leader within their sector, with values based on compassion and service and are now looking for an experienced Corporate Travel Consultant who can faciliate the travel needs of one of their most prestigious clients in the North American market.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the most cost effective and convenient options are offered, having listened to the clients’ requirements and maintaining the highest level of customer service at all times. The scope of the role covers not only flights but also a range of other travel products including has hotels, car hire, and rail.

Role of Corporate Travel Consultant:
- Looking after the travel needs from first enquiry to travel completed whether in person, by phone or email
- Providing a professional consultancy service for all clients, anticipating their needs and offering a range of value-added solutions to exceed their expectations
- Booking a range of travel products and offer professional advice, inclusive of our specialist fares
- Directly managing travel for VIPs
- Using a Consultative Sales approach
- Keeping up to date with changes in the travel sector e.g. Crisis, industrial action
- Achieving and maintaining targets whilst working efficiently
- Regularly checking and actioning airline queue messages and monitor existing bookings on hold
Skills required for the role:
- Passion for and experience of working in business or leisure travel
- Native/Proficient English language skills (verbal and written)
- Native GDS experience
- Legal right to work and live in the US
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to multitask and adapt to and thrive in an ever-changing environment
- High level of written and verbal communication skills who can deal with clients over the phone, emails and through other channels such as webchats and social media
