If you have business travel reservations experience (and solid GDS/fares knowledge), along with the ability to deliver high levels of customer service, we'd love to hear from you!

Role of Homework Business Travel Consultant:

Handle all travel requirements for a specialist client base
Arranging and booking complex flight itineraries
Respond to calls and emails from clients in a polite, efficient and professional manner
Deliver an outstanding level of customer service at all times
Communicate effectively with clients at all levels
Offer advice on the best routes and fares for clients

Skills required for the role:

Previous experience in a business travel reservations role - essential
Proficiency on a GDS – Amadeus, Galileo or Sabre - essential
Good worldwide geographical knowledge
Strong organisational skills
Keen attention to detail
Excellent customer service & communication skills

I took a 7 year hiatus from the Travel industry to develop my skills in a completely different role. Unfortunately, that came to an abrupt end through to insolvency and it knocked me sideways as I was climbing the career ladder.
