We have a fantastic opportunity for those with meetings and events experience, to join a leading travel organisation in Droitwich as a Meetings & Events Reservations Executive. As a Meetings & Events Reservations Executive, you’ll deliver exemplary customer service from initial enquiry through to booking contract stage ensuring all sales enquiries conversion targets are consistently achieved for our client’s portfolio of UK Hotels.

Role of Meetings & Events Reservations Executive:
- Respond to all enquiries through all channels and sources to include: Business Groups, Leisure Groups, Events Project Events, Training, Social Banqueting, Weddings and Meetings
- Proactively refer hotels within the group portfolio to match client requirements
- Produce detailed and accurate proposals, ensure consistent written confirmations of all discussions and proactively up serve solutions for clients
- Actively convert customer enquiries into confirmed sales and develop future and repeat business for all hotels within the portfolio contributing to the profitability of the hotels
- Deliver the brand standards of outstanding customer enquiry service whilst ensuring a clear and effective line of communication is maintained with the central sales, revenue and hotel teams
- Check customer satisfaction post event and resolve any outstanding issues and securing future sales leads
- Identify new accounts and contacts to develop sales leads.
Skills required for the role:
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role
- Customer focused with excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Focused, self-motivated and professional approach
- Excellent IT skills
- Knowledge of Opera PMS, Brilliant PMS, Smart Space would be an advantage
