We're looking for experienced, Sabre or Galileo/Travelport trained Business Travel Consultants for a brand new opportunity with a leading Travel Management Company based in Dublin, with the option to work from home after a period of office-based training.

Working on corporate travel accounts, successful candidates will be responsible for delivering a highly professional travel management service, offering expert guidance at all times. To succeed, you'll have the skills and knowledge to make recommendations for the best place to stay in a city, the most comfortable seat onboard or the latest supplier offers. You'll understand clients' budgets and company travel policies and will do all you can to ensure compliance.

Role of Senior Business Travel Consultant:

Delivering first-class customer service for a wide variety of business travellers
Handling reservations and ticketing for air, hotels, rail and car hire
Dealing with amendments, cancellations and schedule changes
Being aware of client travel policies and offering the best deals possible within budget
Ensuring that you keep up to date with travel industry products and services

Skills required for the role:

Previous travel industry/ air reservations experience -- ideally gained within a TMC/flight centre
Recent hands-on knowledge of Sabre/Galileo GDS to include ticketing IATA Fares and Ticketing expertise -- knowledge of nett fares an advantage
A warm, confident, reassuring telephone manner
Good worldwide geography and keen attention to detail

I contacted Succeed after seeing a vacancy that was of interest.

Cheryl picked up my CV on the Monday morning and called me first thing, after a brief chat about some of the opportunities available we decided to send of a couple of applications.

Cheryl then contacted me again on Tuesday with another vacancy (that don’t come up very often) that ticked all the boxes, by afternoon had secured an interview for me on the Thursday. The following Tuesday Cheryl calls with a job offer. One week from start to finish!

Cheryl has been amazing throughout the entire process, with regular communication even after the job was complete. Can’t thank her enough for her service and professionalism as this was my first time using a recruitment agency. But I would not hesitate to use Cheryl again (hopefully won’t need too) and to recommend to others.
