Experienced Business Travel professionals, we have a fantastic and brand new opportunity for you to bring your extensive corporate travel knowledge to this Senior Business Travel Consultant role, delivering a high touch service to corporate travellers. In return, our client can offer a highly competitive starting salary of up to £25k and a Monday to Friday working week, with no evening or weekend working involved!

Based in South Manchester in state of the art offices and offering a full range of travel services to a loyal portfolio of clients, our client is a well-established, independent Travel Management Company who pride themselves on their reputation for innovation and service. They’re looking for business travel consultants who support this vision, so the ideal candidate will be customer-focused with exceptional customer service skills and you’ll ideally also have a minimum of four years Business Travel experience, a keen eye for detail and a confident, professional telephone manner. Role of Senior Business Travel Consultant:

Booking all aspects of business travel including flights, rail, hotel and car reservations, using a GDS
You will be responsible for handling the enquiry from start to finish including searching for a range of fares [nett, consol and published] and travel options and presenting these to your clients
As an experienced business travel consultant, you’ll be exploring everything from low cost options through to round the world itineraries
Responsible for ensuring all tickets and documentation are issued accurately and in a timely manner

Skills required for the role:

Ideally minimum four years, recent business travel experience
Full proficiency with a GDS
Exceptional customer service skills
Confident, professional telephone manner
Excellent attention to detail
