We have a brand new opportunity for an experienced Logistics Analyst to join the team of a brand leading, International organisation based in Manchester. If you have a meticulous attention to detail and a highly analytical approach, along with experience gained within a logistics environment, we’d love to hear from you!
This is a very interesting role which will see the successful candidate be responsible for a variety of tasks including the management of all stock across the business, producing and monitoring stock reports, working with the supply chain to ensure stock availability and attending forecast and stock management meetings.
Previous experience within a similar role is essential for the position and although this is initially a 10 month maternity cover contract, this may be extended further. Role of Logistics Analyst:
- Setting and on-boarding up new customers
- Management of all stock across the business and attending monthly stock management meetings
- Produce and monitor the brand stock report
- Working with supply chain to ensure stock availability and communicating to team and customers to prevent loss of sales
- Attending forecast meetings to record any amendments and distribute to the buying and planning team
- Updating and distributing the finished aged / clearance report after month end. Attend clearance meetings to update and action comments
- Produce a stock management report documenting any stock loss or inaccuracies and what actions have been taken
- Review customer call off and demand in line with forecast
- Working closely with Planning & Production to understand product availability
- Continuous improvement of data management and systems
Skills required for the role:
- Experienced gained in a similar analytical role, within a logistics environment
- Highly analytical approach and a meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work well within a team but also with autonomy
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Strong organisation skills
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office, including Excel
