Calling all Cruise & Travel sales professionals! If you're passionate about the travel sector and are seeking excellent earning potential in a brand new role, then we have a fantastic opportunity for you to join a multi award winning cruise agency as a Cruise Sales Consultant! With all leads and equipment provided for you, along with a generous basic salary plus uncapped commission structure, this is a superb opportunity to join our client as they expand further into the cruise market.

This role isn't for everyone - we're looking for top selling cruise or travel sales professionals, who are driven not only to deliver a fantastic level of service to their customers but also to ensure the sale. Is this you?!

If so, you'll be rewarded with a generous basic salary, excellent and uncapped earning potential, flexible working pattern, unlimited cruise leads and a supportive working environment. Our client is open 7 days per week from 9am - 9pm, so flexibility with regard to working hours is essential.

Role of Cruise Sales Consultant:

Selling the full spectrum of cruise holidays
Offering advice and suggestions on cruise lines/ships/itineraries
Tailor making cruise holidays where required
Working to and achieving individual sales targets
Selling upgrades, add-ons and other ancillary products
Building rapport and lasting relationships to maximise repeat business

Skills required for the role:

Previous cruise or travel sales experience and a proven sales track record
Strong product knowledge across all cruise lines would be an advantage
Confident and engaging telephone manner
Outstanding customer service skills
Driven and motivated approach
Flexibility with regard to working hours

I took a 7 year hiatus from the Travel industry to develop my skills in a completely different role. Unfortunately, that came to an abrupt end through to insolvency and it knocked me sideways as I was climbing the career ladder.
