As recruitment for the travel industry shows no signs of slowing down, for those with experience in the cruise sector, we have a fantastic opportunity to join a multi-award-winning cruise agency as they build on the success of their existing homeworking sales team. In addition to a guaranteed salary of £23,000, our client can offer uncapped earning potential (with the average consultant earning £40,000 plus), and for their next intake, they’re also offering a £2,000 "golden hello" bonus!

Working with inbound cruise sales enquiries, the role involves selling the full spectrum of cruise lines, from great value family cruises to luxurious, six-star cruise holidays. You’ll be expected to offer a highly professional service, giving expert advice and recommendations and following up with the client in order to secure the booking. (Our client pays commission the month the booking is made.)

Role of Home-based Cruise Sales Consultant:

Handling both telephone calls and web enquiries
Selling cruise holidays across all cruise lines
Tailor-making cruise and stay packages
Upselling and booking ancillary products where appropriate
Offering exceptional customer service, expert advice and personal recommendations
Working to and achieving sales targets

We’re looking for:

Cruise sales experience and ideally, good personal cruise experience
Confident & engaging telephone manner
Genuine interest and desire to specialise in the cruise sector
Proven sales/profit generated track record
Tenacious and pro-active approach to sales with an ability to "close" the sale
Previous experience of working from home would be an advantage but isn’t essential
Quiet space or spare room from which to work

Our client can offer:

A guaranteed salary of £23k plus uncapped earning potential (£40k+)
A “golden hello” bonus of £2k
Commission is paid monthly when booking is made

I was unexpectedly made redundant very recently and with Christmas coming up, was in a bit of a panic. I got a call from Rachel at Succeed Recruitment within minutes of uploading my CV and she was ever so warm, friendly and sympathetic. I took a 7 year hiatus from the Travel industry to develop my skills in a completely different role. Unfortunately, that came to an abrupt end through to insolvency and it knocked me sideways as I was climbing the career ladder.
