For those with experience in the cruise sector, we have a fantastic opportunity to join a multi-award-winning cruise agency as they build on the success of their existing homeworking sales team. In addition to a guaranteed salary of £23,000, our client can offer uncapped earning potential (with the average consultant earning £40k plus) and their top sellers earning a minimum of £70-80k!

Working with inbound cruise sales enquiries, the role involves selling the full spectrum of cruise lines, from great value family cruises to luxurious, six-star cruise holidays. You’ll be expected to offer a highly professional service, giving expert advice and recommendations and following up with the client in order to secure the booking.

Role of Homework Cruise Sales Consultant:

Handling both telephone calls and web enquiries
Selling cruise holidays across all cruise lines
Tailor-making cruise and stay packages
Upselling and booking ancillary products where appropriate
Offering exceptional customer service, expert advice and personal recommendations
Working to and achieving sales targets

Our client can offer:

A guaranteed salary of £23k plus uncapped earning potential (£40k+)
Commission is paid monthly when booking is made
All quality leads and laptop/headset are provided for you
Guaranteed Educational & Ship Visit Opportunities
Flexible Hours for a great work/life balance (minimum 37.5 hours per week) - set your own hours to suit you

We’re looking for:

Cruise sales experience and ideally, good personal cruise experience - essential
Confident & engaging telephone manner
Genuine interest and desire to specialise in the cruise sector
Proven sales/profit generated track record
Tenacious and pro-active approach to sales with an ability to "close" the sale
Previous experience of working from home would be an advantage but isn’t essential
Quiet space or spare room from which to work

I took a 7 year hiatus from the Travel industry to develop my skills in a completely different role. Unfortunately, that came to an abrupt end through to insolvency and it knocked me sideways as I was climbing the career ladder.

Decided to explore the option of getting back into the travel industry as I’ve got 17 years of specialist experience within the luxury tailored holidays and cruise sectors. My concern was how employers would respond from being mid level management to wanting to be back on the front line consulting. Cheryl made the journey enjoyable and presented 2 fantastic companies that both gave me the offers.

She guided me with interview techniques as usually it’s been word of mouth and recommendation for me in the past. Very efficient with guidance notes and following up for feedback after each interview. She actually made the process effortless.

Working with Rachel the director was a pleasure, almost felt like we knew each other from a different life. Very approachable.
