Previous, recent travel reservations experience – cruise, luxury, short or long haul holidays, UK breaks – essential
Proven travel sales track record
A willingness to network to further develop your own database of customers
Excellent customer service skills
Confident, professional telephone manner
Self-motivated with the ability to work with autonomy from home
Home office or quiet area from which to work

I took a 7 year hiatus from the Travel industry to develop my skills in a completely different role. Unfortunately, that came to an abrupt end through to insolvency and it knocked me sideways as I was climbing the career ladder.

I was unexpectedly made redundant very recently and with Christmas coming up, was in a bit of a panic.
