Are you a customer focused Travel Consultant, who enjoys tailor-making packages to Worldwide destinations? Would you like to work from the comfort of your own home, working sociable hours with no late nights or Sundays? Previous travel sales and GDS experience is essential for these roles and the successful candidates will possess a good working knowledge of long haul destinations and will be experienced with tailor-making holidays including multi-sector itineraries and cruise-and-stay packages. In return, our client is offering a competitive basic salary of £18k plus commission and superb industry benefits such as familiarisation trips and other industry incentives.

Role of Home-based Worldwide Travel Sales Consultant:

Tailor-making holiday packages to long haul destinations
Booking all aspects of travel including cruise-and-stay packages and multi-sector itineraries
Offering expert advice and personal recommendations
Delivering high levels of customer service

Skills required for the role:

Previous travel sales experience
Working knowledge of a GDS - essential
Experience with tailor-making holiday packages
Good working knowledge of and, ideally, personal experience of long haul destinations
Strong sales and customer service skills
Ability to work well both autonomously and as part of a team
