We have a fabulous opportunity to join an award-winning, luxury hotel group, as they recruit for a Regional Sales Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, the successful candidate will assist the team in marketing the hotels to travel agents, tour operators and directly to consumers. The roles main area of focus will be to promote the brand with training to travel agencies and tour operators across southern England as well as attending trade roadshows, consumer events and organising and hosting fam trips.
This role will suit candidates with strong sales experience gained within the leisure travel sector, along with a positive and pro-active approach and the ability to work well with autonomy.

Please note - working hours are Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17.30 with weekends required for trade events, consumer shows and hosted fam trips.
Role of Regional Sales Manager:
- Sales visits – regular sales visits to travel agents and tour operators for presentations and product training.
- Organising trade fam trips, press trips and company hosted events in the UK.
- Representing and selling company products at consumer shows and trade events.
- Sales support – assisting the Sales & Marketing Director with sales and contracting appointments.
- New business development - assisting in the research of new business from specialist tour operators and new groups business.
- Ensuring the travel trade database and the Premier agent loyalty club is effectively managed and regularly updated.
- Sending regular newsletters via email and social media to the travel trade on product updates, special offers and hosted events.
Skills required for the role:
- 3 years’ experience working in the UK travel industry from a sales or marketing background.
- The role will be based in Southern England with easy access required to London and the South East.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.
- Well organised, creative and computer literate – Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Motivated and pro-active and able to work on your own initiative as the role requires remote working across the UK.
