Our client is looking for those with a real love for travel and the ability to talk to customers with passion & enthusiasm about a wide range of long-haul destinations. A proven track record of excellent sales and service skills and experience in creating tailor-made holidays is essential for the role - GDS skills would also be an advantage.

Role of Tailor-made Tours Specialist:

Tailor-making bespoke tours and holidays to worldwide destinations
Listening carefully to the clients' needs and requests to ensure their expectations are met
Offering expert advice and personal recommendations
Delivering high levels of customer service to encourage repeat custom
Maximising all sales opportunities to achieve and exceed against targets

Skills required for the role:

Previous experience of long haul, luxury sales/reservations experience within the travel sector - essential
Proven experience of creating bespoke tours and itineraries
Ability to tailor-make/dynamically package
Self-motivated and target driven
Exceptional customer service skills
GDS experience would be an advantage

I took a 7 year hiatus from the Travel industry to develop my skills in a completely different role. Unfortunately, that came to an abrupt end through to insolvency and it knocked me sideways as I was climbing the career ladder.

Decided to explore the option of getting back into the travel industry as I’ve got 17 years of specialist experience within the luxury tailored holidays and cruise sectors.
