Are you a GDS proficient Travel Consultant, with experience of tailor-making packages to Worldwide destinations? If so, we'd love to hear from you as we recruit for some brand new roles with a market leading & award winning, Worldwide Tour Operator.

Joining our client as a Tour Operations Reservations Consultant, you'll work as an integral part of their travel sales team, maintaining and increasing sales of their product to UK Travel Agents.

In return, our client can offer a competitive salary of up to £28k plus commission and superb industry benefits such as long haul familiarisation trips and other industry incentives. This role operates between Mon - Sat on a rota basis, between 9am - 6pm, so no late nights or Sundays!

Role of Tour Operations Reservations Consultant:

Based from home in a B2B sales environment
Tailor-making holiday packages to long haul destinations
Booking all aspects of travel including multi-sector itineraries
Offering expert advice and personal recommendations
Delivering high levels of customer service
Offering expert advice and personal recommendations
Maximising all sales opportunities

Skills required for the role:

Previous travel sales experience - essential
Working knowledge of a GDS - essential
Experience with tailor-making holiday packages
Good working knowledge of and, ideally, personal experience of long-haul destinations
Strong sales and customer service skills
Ability to work well both autonomously and as part of a team

I took a 7 year hiatus from the Travel industry to develop my skills in a completely different role. Unfortunately, that came to an abrupt end through to insolvency and it knocked me sideways as I was climbing the career ladder.

I contacted Succeed after seeing a vacancy that was of interest.

Cheryl picked up my CV on the Monday morning and called me first thing, after a brief chat about some of the opportunities available we decided to send of a couple of applications.

Cheryl then contacted me again on Tuesday with another vacancy (that don’t come up very often) that ticked all the boxes, by afternoon had secured an interview for me on the Thursday. The following Tuesday Cheryl calls with a job offer. One week from start to finish!

Cheryl has been amazing throughout the entire process, with regular communication even after the job was complete. Can’t thank her enough for her service and professionalism as this was my first time using a recruitment agency. But I would not hesitate to use Cheryl again (hopefully won’t need too) and to recommend to others.

Despite being out of the industry for 4 years (thanks to COVID) we talked this through and she felt I was a strong candidate for the role. She put forward my CV and the next day she was in touch to let me know they wished to interview.
