Working within the Product team, the role will see the successful candidates undertaking a range of tasks, including creating email and direct mail documents, communicating marketing material and uploading content including fare code information and campaign changes to the website. Role of Product Assistant:

Creating email and direct mail docs using briefs from Commercial & Trading Executives
Repricing marketing material including emails and direct mail
Communicating marketing material to other departments including sales
Daily website checks
Uploading content including fare code information and campaign changes to the website
Making amendments to marketing material sent back from the design team
Create workings out spreadsheet to be used by sales
Dealing with consultant questions from workplace
Updating market share, trading, activity points and weekly figures
Ensure packages are loaded correctly
Attending cruise line trading calls and events when requested

Skills required for the role:

Commercially aware with a keen eye for detail
Ideally, some exposure to the travel sector or a recent Graduate
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to build strong relationships
Flexible and supportive approach to colleagues
Keen to build a long term career with the commercial side of the Travel sector

I took a 7 year hiatus from the Travel industry to develop my skills in a completely different role. Unfortunately, that came to an abrupt end through to insolvency and it knocked me sideways as I was climbing the career ladder.

Decided to explore the option of getting back into the travel industry as I’ve got 17 years of specialist experience within the luxury tailored holidays and cruise sectors. My concern was how employers would respond from being mid level management to wanting to be back on the front line consulting. Cheryl made the journey enjoyable and presented 2 fantastic companies that both gave me the offers.

She guided me with interview techniques as usually it’s been word of mouth and recommendation for me in the past. Very efficient with guidance notes and following up for feedback after each interview. She actually made the process effortless.

Working with Rachel the director was a pleasure, almost felt like we knew each other from a different life. Very approachable.

From the 7th October I’ve done a full U-Turn and heading back to the industry that I’ve always been passionate about thanks to the Lovely Cheryl Webb and Rachel Wigley.
