Do you have exceptional customer service skills? Can you remain calm under pressure, dealing with post travel issues and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner? Would you like to work for a leading independent USA Specialist as part of their busy Customer Service team?
As Customer Relations Advisor, you’ll be handling customer complaints and other product and service issues, building rapport, investigating thoroughly and keeping customers informed at every stage of the process, ensuring a mutually satisfactory outcome, improving the customer experience and encouraging repeat business. An empathetic and service orientated approach is essential for success in the role as well as customer service or complaint handling experience. Although travel industry experience would be an advantage, it isn't essential for this role.

Role of Travel Customer Relations Advisor:
- Being the first point of contact for all customer related issues
- Managing the resolution of customer complaints, within given timescales
- Resolving product or service problems - selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
- Communicating effectively, ensuring all complaints are acknowledged in a timely manner and customers are kept informed throughout the process
- Maximising customer satisfaction and ensuring full communication at all times
Skills required for the role:
- Previous and recent experience in a similar Customer Relations role
- Strong communication and IT skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Good organisational skills and able to prioritise workload
- Keen attention to detail
- Work well as part of a team
