We're looking for an ambtious, customer focused and sales driven manager, for a fantastic opportunity with a luxury travel organisation based in Greater Manchester. If you enjoy inspiring your team to deliver an exceptional level of customer service whilst meeting their sales targets, we'd love to hear from you!
In this role, you'll not only be responsible for the day to day management of the sales team but your own sales, so this role will suit those ready to roll up their sleeves and lead by example.
Previous team leader / supervisory / managerial experience is essential for the position, along with luxury, long haul travel product knowledge and a positive and pro-active approach.

Role of Travel Sales Manager:
- Managing the daily efficient running of the Travel Sales Team.
- Answer calls and make reservations to ensure that service levels are maintained at all times.
- Setting and communicating team performance targets and ensure that targets for sales & customer service delivery are met.
- Resolving any issues and customer queries quickly and effectively
- Reviewing the performance of staff and identifying training needs via one to one’s, call monitoring and report analysis.
- Ensure team complete all mandatory training and that they are trained on all products, preferred airlines and systems.
- Coaching, motivating and on going development of staff.
- Assisting with the recruitment of new team members.
Skills required for the role:
- Previous experience in a managerial role within the travel industry
- Experience of the luxury travel sector
- Strong long haul, travel product knowledge
- Able to communicate and manage time effectively
- Able to manage, lead and motivate a team
- Strong business awareness
- Positive, pro-active and motivational approach
