Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work in marketing within the travel sector? If so, we have a fabulous opportunity for a self-motivated individual to join a growing travel company based in Chester as a Marketing Assistant.

The Marketing Assistant plays an integral part within the marketing team, ensuring all team members are supported within their work in meeting key objectives in the department. The successful candidate will enjoy a challenging role and our client can offer a competitive starting salary, 20 days holiday rising 1 day per year (up to 25), company pension scheme, discounted holidays, on-site parking and a friendly and supportive working environment.

Please note -this is a full-time position, Mon- Fri 9 -5.30pm and is office based.

Role of Marketing Assistant:

Assisting the copywriting team in the sourcing, loading and resizing of images and content
Develop and execute social media campaigns that drive business, creating an online voice and image for our brand demographics
Upload and code content to the CMS from copywriters for both brands
Create and load banners onto both websites
Scheduling social media content for both brands
Ensure all images are correctly sized for both websites and ensure the inhouse image library is updated.
Loading content into the CMS system for both brands

Skills required for the role:

Experience of copy checking duties
Vast knowledge of social media platforms
Experience of creating campaigns is essential
Skilled in photoshop for editing and resizing images and videos is essential
Basic knowledge of HTML and CMS
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
A creative flair, an eye for new trends and an ability to seek out new social media avenues and ways of connecting with audiences would be an advantage
