Do you have a talent for creating engaging copy and a love of travel? If so, we’d love to hear from you as we recruit for our client, a fast-growing travel organisation based in Chester. Following recent multi-million-pound investment, our client is ready to substantially accelerate their growth and are now looking for a dynamic Copywriter to join them.

Working within the copy writing team, you’ll create pieces which market and promote both our client’s brands through innovative, creative and effective copy. You’ll be tasked with writing compelling copy for their websites, social media, press releases, newsletters and other marketing channels.

Previous copywriting experience, either freelance, in-house or within an agency environment is essential for the role and our client is looking for candidates driven by results, who work well under pressure and who are able to deliver consistently to deadlines.

Role of Copywriter:

Working with the marketing and design team to ensure that the copy fits the needs of the project
Rewriting and updating information on websites and company materials
Writing high-engagement content for both brands
Ensuring that all content is consistent with in-house style guidelines

Skills required for the role:

Previous copywriting experience
Degree level or equivalent in a related field (e.g. Journalism, English, Marketing or similar)
Experience of writing blogs, landing page copy and marketing content
An interest in and/or some basic knowledge of SEO, social media and PR
Basic Knowledge of HTML & CMS
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals across departments
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Highly organised and manage workloads effectively
A genuine passion for travel
