This role can be office/hybrid based in the Birmingham area, or fully remote. In return, our client can offer a salary up to £27k plus excellent benefits.

Role of Social Media Executive:
- Develop and schedule creative, on-brand and engaging content in order to drive reach and engagement
- Write compelling copy
- Ownership & maintenance of the social media content scheduling platform
- Respond promptly to online messages received by the business
- Manage and grow online community
- Monitor competitor social media activities and campaigns
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams on campaign ideas
- Track and monitor campaign progress and performance
- Use analytics tools to track engagement, reach and growth
- Support with coordination of influencer campaigns and partnerships
Skills required for the role
- Proven experience managing social media platforms for a B2C brand or agency
- Travel industry social media experience
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices for content and engagement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to tone and brand voice.
- Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Later, Sprout Social, Google Analytics).
- Highly creative mindset
- Degree in Marketing or similar qualification
