If so, we have an amazing opportunity to join our award winning client as a Flights and Ticketing Executive.  In this busy and varied role, you’ll be responsible for checking bookings, ensuring the very best flights have been selected and making personal recommendations where possible, looking ahead at future reservations and making adjustments to increase company margins.

This is a full or part-time role (30hrs per week), Mon – Sun 9 – 5.30 office based / hybrid or fully remote.

Role of Flights & Ticketing Executive:

  • Managing new bookings using a GDS
  • Queue management
  • Identifying and sourcing alternative flight options to increase margins
  • Supporting the sales team
  • Building relationships with airlines and account managers
  • Performance analysis

Skills required for the role:

  • Travel industry background
  • Experience working with airfares and tickets
  • GDS experience would be an advantage but isn't essential
  • Ability to find alternative flight solutions where necessary
  • Able to work under pressure and prioritise workloads

I took a 7 year hiatus from the Travel industry to develop my skills in a completely different role. Unfortunately, that came to an abrupt end through to insolvency and it knocked me sideways as I was climbing the career ladder.
