Description:
The role will involve managing and coordinating reservations for clients, ensuring a seamless and efficient booking process. You’ll be the first point of contact for clients, providing them with information about availability, rates, and services. You’ll also be responsible for processing reservations, handling cancellations and modifications, and resolving any issues that may arise. This is an initial 3-month contract, potentially extending to 6 months and our client can offer a competitive pro rata salary, along with the chance to gain experience within a luxury travel organisation. Please note, this is a fully office-based role.

Role of Reservations Support Executive:
- Work with the Reservations Manager to support and perform the Reservations job function for operators/agents & direct passengers
- Groups Management – loading initial group contracts, rooming lists and maintaining records
- Respond to website and other general enquiries
- Work with Reservations Manager to support the company’s visa processing function through providing accurate and relevant visa information letters to all new bookings in accordance with their travel requirements
- Monitor and respond where necessary all e-mails received into the Visa inbox
- Work with the Reservations Manager in the fulfilment of all tour documentation (pre and post travel) for the guests
- House management of the Reservations system – undertake the responsibility of tour loading and inventory management
- Promotions - Creating and editing reservation promotions and special offers
- Support the department with the processing of customer feedback data.

Role of Ticketing Manager:
- The main aspect of the role will be to oversee the ticket department on a daily basis.
- Queue management – ensure all q’s are kept up to date including: schedule changes, general, web, re-issues and q’s are checked at the end of the day to ensure everything has been actioned for that day.
- Monitor schedule changes and ensure that agents/customers are advised of the changes. Make any alterations to bookings, update back-office systems to reflect the changes.

Role of Regional Sales Manager:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key agents and suppliers.
- Arrange meetings with Agents, ensuring all agents throughout your area are visited regularly.
- Produce a monthly call plan to cover agents in your specific region ensuring the call plan manages personal time and productivity.
- Produce own database of agents to send personalised emails to promote incentives, offers and company news.
- Develop new ways to grow business in own region.
- Lead overseas FAM trips and represent the Company by attending UK or overseas conferences, functions, networking events as required.
- Work closely with commercial partners and key agents to put together commercial deals to include tactical marketing and promotional plans in order to increase mutual business
- Review and analyse sales figures for all accounts in your region, put together plans and implement actions for any underperforming or inactive accounts
- Plan, carry out and support local marketing activities to agreed timescales e.g. product launches, events, promotions, advertising, and exhibitions.
- Assist the Marketing Team in carrying out marketing activities. Develop ideas and work with the marketing department to promote products to the trade.
- Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant examples and information.
- Deliver presentations at agent meetings, internal meetings and other functions to promote all products.
Skills required for the role:
- Previous experience gained within a similar sales role in the travel sector - essential
- Recent experience of visiting travel agents in a similar sales capacity - essential
- Able to build effective working relationships
- Confident outgoing and flexible
- Excellent communication skills
- Quick thinking and able to resolve problems effectively
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Willingness to travel inc. weekends and evenings
